    Where you have written out, (32’4) @ 51:00, they might’ve been asking, why would there ever be any negative number at all when we are looking at a plane intercepting a lattice space? Would that not require us to first translate our plane A by a value of -2 in the y direction of our lattice and make the plane go in the other direction, in which case, technically not have a plane at all even intercepting our lattice? If I instead look at it as the size of my plane held within my given lattice space for that specific unit edge of my lattice, then I would always have positive values. I’m taking up 2/3 of the x edge, 1 of the y edge, and 1/2 of my z edge. Leading to (324). What exactly makes the y negative?

    • @ZGNeale
      @ZGNeale 8 дней назад

      The original A plane intersects the x, y, and z axes at the origin, which cannot be solved. We must translate the plane away from the origin in any direction to solve. The easiest translation is to shift the A plane along the y-axis by -1. Then the x,y,z intercepts become 2/3, -1, and 1/2.

    Hi. I´ve got some problems with data aquisition immediately stop after the vibration system off. It´s 3 simultenously aquisition wich is temperature, acceleration, amplifier voltage and one vibration control as an output signal. My goal is to sincronize the start and stop of all inputs and outputs after all times out fineshed. If you have a video wich can bring me under light, I´ll apriciate. Thanks

    Hi Zach, how did you decide it's 2 moles @ 30:06

    • @ZGNeale
      @ZGNeale 4 месяца назад

      To reduce vanadium 5+ to 4+ it takes 1 electron, but in every unit of V2O5 there are two units of V, so it takes two units of electrons to reduce all vanadium to 4+. Thus, it takes 2 mol electrons to reduce 1 mol V2O5.

    This is very intense. A giant learning curve when you try to break down all the moving parts of batteries. It was enough to understand the working principles of batteries. Thank goodness for AI. Must know a little bit of everything. Basic redox, to structures of crystals to hold the ions. To battery expansion with anodes.This is a field when you must have happy accidents. I have been struggling with this topic for years. You did a good job of explaining the difficulties in this complex field.

    Hi, I am getting an error while using DAQ Assistant. The error message is "the top-level vi was stopped at wire on the block diagram of daqmx timing (sample clock)". Even a simple DAQ assistant is not working. I am using NI USB 6341 and Labview version 2021. I have verified the version of DAQmx and repaired it and even installed it again. But nothing worked. Can you please suggest what would be the problem?

    Hi, on the battery cyclic Voltammetry slide, you mentioned if we cut the wire, the potential of the active material will go back to its original equilibrium.

    • @zishangwu1916
      @zishangwu1916 11 месяцев назад

      However, the original equilibrium cannot be reached w/o the wire that conducting electrons back and forward (the e- cannot travel through electrolyte). Hence, I think it will be more reasonable to say "removing the voltage source will let active material goes back to its original potential".

    • @ZGNeale
      @ZGNeale 11 месяцев назад

      Voltage would relax to its new equilibrium potential, depending on the state of oxidation. It would not be the original equilibrium at the start. Voltage source and current source are the same.

    • @ZGNeale
      @ZGNeale Год назад

      It is safe. The user is protected from X-Rays. The glass is made out of lead oxide which absorbs X-rays. And the machine automatically stops X-rays if the door is open.
